It has been some time since I last updated this blog.  Josh has grown quite plump during this interval.

We celebrated his first month birthday on Valentine’s Day.  Of course, the one who was really having fun was Jed.

Chinese New Year is the time when parents (and grandparents) get to amuse themselves by dressing their kids up in traditional costumes (though I’m not quite sure if traditional means "Chinese" in my case since we’re not entirely Chinese).  It probably sucks to wear the awful stuff below in Singapore weather, and Joyce and I have resisted grandma’s implorations to dress Jed up in previous years (it’ll probably amount to cruel and unusual punishment in the EU).  But now that we’ve finally been coerced into it, I have to say that it does look rather cute on him.

One of the disadvantages, I have discovered, of naming your kids so like each other is that you tend to confuse their names.  I’ve been calling Josh, "Je-osh".
