If it seems odd that most of the London pictures look cheerfully sunny, this is because London is experiencing its warmest and driest winter in years. Well timed, in view of the fact that An Inconvenient Truth has just been released, and in view of economist Sir Nicholas Stern’s review on climate change and a report warning of the collapse of fish stocks.
On the day that we moved to another hotel, there was a demonstration against US environmental practices outside the US embassy - a peaceful one as far as I could see. Which was interesting, given that we’ve never had anything like this back in Singapore.
